Okay. My computer fucking exploded. I don't know what's wrong with it, or how to fix it, and I wanted something I could take around with me anyway, so now I've got a laptop.

Trouble is, my scanner and its hideously outdated software aren't compatible with my new OS, and the driver software that IS compatible with said new OS hasn't been released yet, and doesn't seem to be scheduled for release for the next year or so. Probably because it was a cheap scanner when I bought it six years ago, and will continue being a piece of shit well on into the future.

Given that this piece of shit is now basically a delightful inch-and-a-half tall glass-bottomed coffee table, primarily suitable for having a place to put hot food and my drink while I'm tapping away on my sweet new laptop (formulated especially for the technologically frugal and illiterate), I'm unable to properly update my dA page. At some point (possibly tonight, if I can manage it) I'll try to scan the stuff I've done the past few weeks.

So, I'm back from vacation, and I've decided I'm going to try to crank out some really good pieces suitable for selling.

Unfortunately, I was mistaken in the timing of certain bills being paid out of my checking account, and I ended up overdrawn. So, now I'm broke, and gonna have to look for a new job (my last one was a minor nightmare and since I would have had to take a week off just after starting a new one, I figured I'd just wait until I got back), but in the hopes of maybe making a little money on the side I'm gonna try to really do some good stuff.
